Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of North Carolina contracted with Davis Kane Architects to provide design options for a fresh look on a limited budget in one of their existing campus dining and servery spaces. Davis Kane successfully blended the Facilities Services’ vision with the requirements of the new food service vendor and the health department to create a revitalized dining experience. As a result, the dining room and entry have been brightened with new carpet, paint, wallcovering, furniture, and lighting. Davis Kane Architects further investigated and proposed maintenance improvements in the kitchen and support areas for a complete overhaul of the existing facility function. The enhanced finishes and design have helped achieve the goal of increased customer attendance at the dining facility.
